Event: Shine Night Walk 2016

Date: Sat 24th Sept 2016

This is the perfect option for those who’d like to do something active but don’t fancy running. This event takes place through the night, and many people choose to buy battery powered fairy lights to drape over themselves to light up London. This event is a few months away, meaning you still have time to sign up and start your training without doing any damage to your body by rushing it! You can choose to do a full or half marathon for this event, meaning there’s an option for all fitness levels. It costs £39.99 to enter this event, and this cost simply goes towards the event organisation and putting the whole thing together. You can then fundraise as much as you can! What will your goal amount be this September?

Make a Wish Foundation is an amazing charity that works to grant the magical wishes to enrich the lives of children fighting life threatening conditions. The Winter Ball takes place at The Dorchester in London and it’s the Make A Wish Foundation’s traditional year closing event. “With entertainment in previous years from the likes of the cast of the musical The Bodyguard and The Jersey Boys, the Winter Ball is an evening not to be missed. The evening commences with a champagne reception followed by a four-course meal with wine. With a fantastic main and silent auction filled with ‘money can’t buy’ prizes, this will certainly be a night to remember.”
