Not only does it leave your skin instantly feeling soft, it also prevents anti ageing. Coconut oil is full of antioxidants which fight off free radicals which help to slow down the ageing process, pretty cool right? Did you know that Emma Watson, Miranda Kerr and Gwyneth Paltrow are all huge fans of coconut oil. If it’s good enough for them…

“After the bath, I slather my skin with extra-virgin organic coconut oil.” – Gwyneth Paltrow, according to her site goop.com.

vitacocoNot only does it work wonders on the skin, it’s one of the best natural oils that can be used in your hair. The fatty acids contained in coconut oil instantly soften the hair, so if you have a damaged or irritated scalp, the coconut oil will instantly sooth your scalp leaving you feeling free from irritation. I recommend that if you do have an irritated or damaged scalp you use vita coco coconut oil and apply it gently into your scalp or at the ends of your hair. Leave it in for a good 4-5 minutes and rinse out, or you can even leave the coconut oil in your hair over night and let it work its magic. Kourtney Kardashian has her own recipe for a coconut oil hair mask click here to check it out.

cocowhiteRecently I have become aware that coconut oil has antibacterial properties which means you can now use it as a tooth whitener, Superdrug stock coco white which is a coconut oil tooth whitener which fights off any harmful bacteria and detox your mouth.

In summary, coconut oil really is a do it all product.

Who would have thought it had so many options that it can be used for. Amazingly, coconut oil even can improve your dog’s digestion process, so not only is it a wonder product for humans it’s also a wonder product for pets!dog

  2. One of the things I love about coconut oil is that it can “increase energy expenditure” compared to the same amount of calories from the longer chain fatty acids.  In conjunction with its ability to increase energy expenditure – studies have also shown that coconut oil can lead to significant reduction in both BI and waist circumference. I use it, daily!!! It makes everything better. My daughter even makes deodorant with it. She adds YL oils in it!!! It’s amazing!!!!
