Somehow, London Fashion Week has already been and gone, and what a fantastic week it was. We saw incredible shows from the likes of Orla Kiely, Sophia Webster, Topshop Unique, Christopher Kane and Burberry, to name a few. Whilst the new collections are always at the forefront of the hype around the event, one of the things we most look forward to is the attendees choice of attire!
We love the creativity fashion week brings into London, and spotting the unique, the daring and the trend setting looks is truly a delight of fashion week, and a fantastic way to generate style inspiration. We also believe it’s important to give those with inspirational style the recognition they deserve, which is why we have rounded up our favourite looks from Fashion Week 2015…
One of Founder and Director Eilidh’s favourite looks from the week, Natasha Oakley took classic shapes and tones and updated them with a figure hugging Jitrois Leather dress. Dressed completely in black with a pale tan Bianca Spender mac style jacket draped on her shoulders, Natasha’s look is chic and simple, yet striking.
Her look is completed with Caroline Herrera strappy black heels and a black Saint Laurent bag. Her slicked back hair and minimal make-up really compliments the look, and can we just note how fantastic her gorgeous tanned skin looks against the pale tan of her coat.
This unnamed attendee caught our eye, due to her effortlessly chic style. Wrapped up almost from head to toe in grey, the model wears a cocoon shaped coat that’s a little short on the arms, displaying her fitted grey cuffs underneath. We love the simplicity of this look, that’s been styled up with leather skinny trousers and a pair of chunky panelled black high tops, complete with a grey patterned scarf, black beanie and black sunnies.
The renowned British stylist was sure to pull several unique looks out the bag for LWF 2015, and this is our favourite of the week from Martha. Looking effortless in a grey t tucked into a buttery suede warm pink knee length skirt, and chunky snowy white cardigan, Martha injects oomph into her look with amazing patent black long length ankle boots, complete with chunky tan leather laces and a pair of quirky mustard yellow sunglasses.
Proving that the masculine trend can still be feminine, Caroline’s not been shy about supporting this trend, opting for full tailoring and slicked back hair to go with it. Wearing a blue checked Temperly London suit, collared blue shirt, and a long sharp wool coat, Caronline brings her look to life by adding that ultimate feminine look, the red lip. Her look is finished with black lace up heeled peep toes and a leather tan tote bag.
All that glitters…
Another nameless attendee, we just had to include this look. With that amazing floor length heavily embellished coat, and the gorgeous high-wasited wide leg white crops, we salute this lady for her daring yet classic style. The neutral tones keep this look simple, whilst the embellished coat adds that impressive edge.
