Launching their first collection in AW ’12, Body Frock is dubbed as the brand ‘that makes the best of you.’ Founded my Melanie Davis in 2011, Body Frock has seen great success with their unique and feminine designs.
The secret behind the Body Frock dresses is the inner control panels, that help sculpt a feminine and flattering silhouette without the need for uncomfortable control underwear.

The New Collection…
Focusing on dresses, the brand followed a natural progression into bridal wear, that offers the modern day bride something a little different. The unique wedding dresses come in a variety of lengths and colours, and the traditional floor length white gown is given a quirky twist.
Alongside gowns perfect for the big day, Body Frock have also created beautiful dresses that are ideal for guest attire too. In pastels and lace, there are some beautiful knee length and midi numbers in both figure hugging and feminine skater cuts.
My Top Picks…
Each dress in the collection is truly unique and beautiful, and there really is something for everyone. My favourites are…
Body Frock Wedding Primrose Embellished Waist Dress- £185
I’m a lover of the fitted and knee length numbers from Body Frock. This demure but feminine dress in a pretty primrose is ideal wedding guest wear, and it comes in a cute mint green shade too.
Wear it: Simply accessories with strappy nude heeled sandals and a nude box clutch. For a whimsical look add a floral garland.

Body Frock Wedding Begonia Gold Layered Dress- £295
I’m slightly torn between the idea of this as a wedding dress, or as a guest dress, but I think when it comes down to it, it would make an ideal alternative wedding dress. In a really unusual nude and gold, the tiered skirt adds just enough volume and drama, in a way that I think would be too much for a guest to wear- nobody wants to upstage the bride.

Body Frock Brides Daisy Dress- £235
Finally, this pretty lace dress makes an ideal alternative to the strapless layered and heavy dresses that seem to be so popular as of late. In a light lace, this dress is far from simple, with intricate detail and a floor length lace train.
