We are in the midst of September , and that can only mean one thing, fashion month is here! Kick starting the month is the New York Fashion week, running from the 10th-17th September.
Fashion month then heads over to London for a full 5 days of fashion action from the 18th to 22nd September, before traveling over to Milan and finally finishing up in Paris.
As we just begin welcoming our new wardrobe for autumn, London Fashion Week will be introducing all the latest trends and premium brand styles for Spring 2016. The 2016 Spring Collection will be hosting a variety of new bold prints and famous spring colours.
Of course all the usual premium brands will be showcasing their latest spring collections, but it is the rising labels that will be present that we need to look out for especially. Marie Claire are currently tipping Molly Goddard and Ryan Lo as one of the best budding brands that will be present.
We can also witness for the first time, Versace’s sister label VERSUS at London Fashion Week. The sister label has appeared on the fashion schedule which is sure to be a big hit at the London show.
London Fashion Week will be hosted at a brand new location this week for SS16. Taking their usual spot of an underground location, London Fashion week this year will be held at Soho’s Brewer Street Car Park.
We will also witness the return of Mulberry’s former creative director, Emma Hill. The designer is unveiling her very own accessories label, Hill & Friends, which is sure to be a hit considering her previous success.
So why not be a step ahead of your fashion game and get prepared for your spring 2016 wardrobe. Keep up to date all throughout September for the upcoming trends, patterns and colours to look out for during spring next year.
