I started around 2 and a half years ago but it seems like five minutes!
I was creating self taught nail art and showcasing it through Twitter, I also loved fashion and after attending an event for an influencer network with mainly bloggers they encouraged me to start my own blog! I bought it would be a great way to express myself and meet new people, I wasn’t wrong!
It’s all about genuine interaction, don’t just focus on your direct peer group either, I networked a lot with small businesses, and bigger brands as well as my readers and fellow bloggers to create an interested following. I also suggest removing and blocking any spam followers as its not just about a number, it’s about the quality interaction you can have!
At the moment it’s eating out and travelling, although I do enjoy talking about my recent outfits too!
At the moment it’s snapchat- I love how it’s instant, not polished and is in the moment. There’s no planning or perfecting it, It’s just genuine. Well except for all the filters!
I’m really loving the crochet lace trend this summer, all my dresses are made of it in different  guises! Beauty wise I’ve just treated myself to the newest Illamasqua eyeshadow palette not only is the rose gold packaging amazing the shades within it are perfect for summer nights.
I love how it’s an outlet for my creativity, and all the people I’ve met and worked with has to be the biggest highlight!
I don’t tend to take in advice as I can be quite forgetful, and follow my own rules, but my most recent poignant moment was in Cologne when a tour guide said ‘you can resurrect the damaged and make it into something beautiful’, when talking about a building, but I likened it to life in general when he said it.

I’d have loved to have given it my all from day one, rather than the slow build I had, as I love seeing how much momentum  committed new bloggers can have! Although equally a desire to get it right all the time and be perfect would also be sow thing I’d have let go of sooner.
I’m continuing to build more travel content and my next stop is Tenerife! I’m also so excited for all the Autumn Winter trends on the horizon, so keep your eyes peeled for how I’m styling them.
