Have you got any exciting 2016 travel plans yet? Or perhaps you’re using the rest of the year to save for your next big trip? Choosing where to go next can be a daunting decision, so I’ve compiled 7 Dreamy Travel Destinations that are on my list of places to visit next…

Situated in the Caribbean, Jamaica is a perfect travel destination if you want a tropical climate and beautiful miles of white sand beaches. The average temperature in Jamaica is 81˚ and it’s well known for it’s locally sourced exotic dishes. The easiest and cheapest way to enjoy Jamaica is to go for an all inclusive holiday resort, however there are also some amazing Air Bnb options if you’d rather stay in a secluded tree house or somewhere more private overlooking the beach.

2. Santorini, Greece

Santorini is is a volcanic island in the Cyclades group of the Greek islands. It’s well known for its dramatic views, incredible sunsets (especially in Oia!), the town of Thira and it’s own active volcano. The warmest time to visit any of the Greek Islands is between June-September. This is when the water is perfect for swimming! However if you’re looking for a cheaper time to visit, choose to go between December and March. Another thing to draw you to Santorini is the wine. If you love your crisp, sweet rose wines then look no further, this is the destination for you.

3. Los Angeles, America

LA is a Southern Californian state with a population of nearly 4 million people, famous for being the centre of America’s film and television industry. With the iconic Hollywood sign and Universal Studios, it’s an excellent travel destination if you love your blockbusters. It is the birthplace of many celebrities including Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, and even Marilyn Monroe. this is certainly a glamourous destination with endless places to see. Explore Beverly Hills, Downtown LA or take a trip to Malibu where you can dine in restaurants overlooking the ocean. Incredible for shopping, beauty and fitness, LA also has endless spas, gyms, salons and personal training studios if you like to keep up with your exercise routine while you’re away.

Famous for its beautiful beaches, blue lagoons and extensive reefs, The Maldives is the perfect place to visit if you want to unwind in paradise. This picturesque location stays sunny all year round, so you can make a trip here whenever you feel the urge to. It also offers some of the most beautiful spas and hotels! Think secluded, exotic luxury. You could stay in a private villa that actually stands on stilts in the calm ocean, an Air Bnb beachside apartment, or perhaps an all inclusive hotel. Whatever your travelling style, you’re bound to find something perfect for you in The Maldives.

It’s actually made up of 115 islands and is situated in the Indian Ocean off East Africa. There are beautiful coral reefs to snorkel around, locations to dive, nature reserves and an abundance of wildlife such as such as giant Aldabra tortoises! Many come to South America to visit Peru, where you can experience ancient culture and ruins. For example, some choose to walk the Inca Trail where you can see The Sacred Valley and Machu Pichu. Millford Sound was judged the world’s top travel destination in The 2008 Travelers’ Choice Destinations Awards by TripAdvisor and is known as New Zealand’s most famous tourist destination. Here you will find seals, dolphins, penguins and even the occasional whale gliding around. It attracts up to 1 million tourist visitors per year, and many choose to take boat trips to see the beauty of Millford Sound. You can rent cosy cottages or go for bunkers and chalets with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Many of the options on booking.com have large hot tubs and luxury pools which you can dip into while enjoying the lake and mountain views. Millford Sound is the perfect tranquil holiday destination.
